The annual even at Wray, near Lancaster, chose a 'traditional tales' theme this year however entrants worked hard to incorporate the US President into classic children’s stories. Entries included a Pinocchi-Trump with an extra-long nose and a ‘Humpty-Trumpty’ balanced precariously on a wall, along with at least four other replica Donalds. Helen Staveley and her family decided to create their own ‘modern-day villain’ to fit the fairy-tale brief – choosing to make a Trump that moves and talks to win first prize.
