Located on the floodplains of the Brahmaputra River, the famed park in oil-rich state Assam is one of India’s UNESCO world heritage sites. It is home to two-thirds of the world's endangered one-horned rhinoceroses. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge had visited the heritage site in a jeep safari during their first visit to India in April last year. The royal couple had been seen escorted by security vehicles and clicking pictures with elephant calves. SEE CATERS COPY Published 12 July 2017 Created 12 July 2017
