    Site archeologique de Palmyre, le tetrapyle (monument a quatre colonnes), au milieu de la grande colonnade, au centre d'une place ovale, marque la seconde cassure de l'axe de la colonnade. Comme sur la Grande Colonnade, des colonnes portaient des statues des bienfaiteurs de la ville.
