Woman Saves Cow with Head Stuck in Tree 17/10/2019 CATERS/SIPA PIC BY Daily Dose of Internet / CATERS NEWS (PICTURED: Cow free from being stuck in tree Bording, Denmark. Pic Taken 20/08/2019) - An udderly helpless cow had to have her head sawed out of a tree after getting herself stuck. As Julius Engedal, along with his sister and mother, wandered through a field in Bording, Denmark, the trio came across a poor Cow who had gotten her head stuck in a tree. Abandoned by the rest of her herd, it was left to the family to rescue the Jersey Cow on August 20. After 10 minutes working away at the tree with a saw, while the Jersey Cow was distracted by a playful dog, the determined trio managed to free the bovine who happily trotted away, before seemingly shouting at her herd for leaving her high and dry. - SEE CATERS COPY - Daily Dose of Internet / CATERS NEWS//CATERSNEWSAGENCY_CATERS_COW_SAVED_FROM_HEAD_STUCK_IN_TR/1910171141/Credit:CATERS/SIPA/1910171143

SCHOOLBOY ALLERGIC TO THE COLD 17/10/2019 CATERS/SIPA PIC BY / CATERS NEWS (PICTURED: Leg of Tommy Leitch, 7, Amersham, Bucks ) - A worried mum has revealed she has more reason to dread the arrival of winter than most - because her little boy is ALLERGIC to the cold. Tommy Leitch, is so severely allergic to the cold that last winter he was hospitalised every month. Bespoke Hotels The Talbot 08/10/2019 CATERS/SIPA Pics from Caters News - (PICTURED: GV's of the Talbot Inn in Ripley, Surrey.) A hotel is offering the chance to spend a night with Nelson's ghost. The Talbot Inn, which dates back to 1453 is one of Britain's oldest coaching inn's. The inn has its fair share of ghosts but its most spooky resident is that of national hero Admiral Horatio Nelson. In December 1798 Nelson was dispatched to rescue the Neapolitan royal family when he fell under the spell of Lady Emma Hamilton, wife of Sir William Hamilton, the British ambassador to Naples. The inn, which is conveniently located in the Surrey village of Ripley is close to London and the naval hub of Portsmouth, is said to have been the romantic bolthole for the couple upon his return to England. - SEE CATERS COPY - Caters News//CATERSNEWSAGENCY_c4884aters01/1910081327/Credit:CATERS/SIPA/1910081334

DEAD WHALE TANGLE 03/10/2019 CATERS/SIPA PIC BY Kevin Rhys Clark / CATERS NEWS - (PICTURED the dead whale on the beach) A drone has captured some heart- breaking pictures of a dead whale that was found on the beach, with an entangled rope around its tail. While the exact causes of its death are unknown, it seems like It seems like the whale got tangled in some fishing gear, which made it vulnerable to predators. Kevin Rhys Clark, 33, a diving instructor from Port Elizabeth, South Africa spotted the whale close to his parents' house on the 23rd of August and captured the sad scene. He said: "After visiting family my aunt told me that a whale had washed up not too far from the house- I sent the drone out to have a look and found the whale straight away. FORTUNE TELLER WEDDING 30/09/2019 CATERS/SIPA PIC FROM MERCURY PRESS (PICTURED DAVID AND SYLVIA IN 2015)An ex-RAF engineer was turned from sceptic to believer after a fortune teller correctly predicted his ENTIRE FUTURE - including meeting his wife of 57 years within months of the prophecy. David Williams, 81, from Powys, North Wales, had just left his job as aircraft technician with the forces in May 1962 when he met a fortune teller in Rhyl, who said he would be married before he turned 25. But only two months shy of turning 24 and with no women on the scene, the young engineer dismissed the predictions as nonsense - along with other claims that he would have lots of dogs, and would live overseas, as instead he moved to Brighouse, West Yorkshire, to be with his brother. Incredibly, only a few months later, David met the love of his life, Sylvia, 21, from Halifax, by chance in a pub and shared a whirlwind romance, getting engaged and marrying the day before his 25th birthday - before later moving to Adelaide, Australia, together and owning eight dogs. The photos were taken by photographer Kate Cummings, 33, and show the otter tucking into a clam before it dives beneath the waves. Captured in Monterey Bay, California, USA, Kate said the images are among the funniest she has ever taken. She said: "I always have a camera next to me on the whale watching trips and I noticed the otter surface with a calm so I stopped the boat to let the passengers enjoy it. Daddy daughter cosplay 24/09/2019 CATERS/SIPA PIC BY GRIDDLOCK COSPLAY / CATERS - (PICTURED The mech being built) A loving and handy father created a sci-fi cosplay costume that could be worn simultaneously by both himself and his daughters. Loving and skilled father, Jack Thomson, 40, wanted to create a cosplay costume that he, his children, nieces and nephews could enjoy. Working out of his home in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, the database programmer painstakingly crafted a sci-fi mechanical suit over five months from foam and plastic that wouldn't look out of place on the set of a James Cameron epic. The suit allowed Jack to walk around in the back, while his young daughters could ride up front, as if they are piloting the mammoth creation. • Giraffe tangled hug

Giraffe tangled hug 17/09/2019 CATERS/SIPA PIC BY Ingo Gerlach / CATERS NEWS - (PICTURED the giraffes are tangled ) Family hugs can be awkward at the best of times - but these poor giraffes ended up getting their knickers - and necks - in a twist! The magnificent creatures were spotted bonding by wildlife photographer Ingo Gerlach, in the Masai Mara, Kenya. But a bonding ritual of placing their necks close to each other - just like a human hug - appears to have got very complicated. Ingo, from Betzdorf, Germany, said: This family of giraffes were beautiful to watch, but it did give me a chuckle. The giraffes often embrace like this to strengthen a family bond, or to play with each other, so I was thrilled to see it.
